Mizu Logistics - Shipment Conditions for Client Goods Movement
1. Packaging and Labeling Requirements
- All shipments must be securely packed to prevent damage during transit. Fragile items should be marked clearly, and liquids or perishable goods should be packaged appropriately to avoid spillage or spoilage.
- The client is responsible for labeling each package with the appropriate handling instructions and delivery information, including the recipient’s name, address, and contact details.
2. Documentation
- The client must provide all necessary documentation required for the movement of goods, including but not limited to:
- Commercial invoices
- Packing lists
- Certificates of origin
- Any special permits (for restricted or hazardous items)
- For international shipments, all documents should comply with customs regulations of the origin, transit, and destination countries.
3. Restricted and Prohibited Items
- Mizu Logistics does not transport illegal substances, weapons, or other items restricted by national or international law.
- For shipments containing restricted items (e.g., hazardous materials), clients must inform Mizu Logistics in advance, so we can ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
4. Insurance
- Mizu Logistics recommends that clients obtain insurance coverage for their shipments. We can assist in arranging insurance upon request, but the client is responsible for the costs associated with it.
- Mizu Logistics is not liable for damage or loss of goods unless otherwise specified in a separate insurance agreement.
5. Liability
- Mizu Logistics will handle goods with care and make every effort to ensure their safe and timely delivery. However, the company is not liable for:
- Delays due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, or political unrest.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from delays or loss of goods.
- In the event of damage or loss, claims must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
6. Customs and Duties
- All customs duties, taxes, and fees for international shipments are the client’s responsibility. Mizu Logistics will not cover these fees and can assist in estimating potential costs based on the shipment details provided.
- The client must ensure compliance with all customs regulations and provide accurate information about the contents of the shipment.
7. Payment Terms
- Payment terms will be agreed upon before shipment. Full payment is required prior to shipping, unless a credit arrangement has been made.
- Any additional charges incurred during transit (e.g., storage fees, demurrage) will be billed to the client, and payments must be settled before the release of goods.
